My 2014 with 41K miles on the clock has been running like a dream. Until today.
Went for a ride this evening, about 1/4 mile from home she stalled, I thought it might have been my fault, then she stuttered for a second another 1/4 mile down the road but came back to life with no issues for the next +-10 miles. Had another stall out later that evening after dinner, was doing about 30mph in 3rd gear and she died, pulled over, started her right up again and got another +-6 trouble free miles out of her.
Stopped at a friends place for a few minutes and when I went to start her up again she cranked but wouldn't turn over as if she wasn't getting any fuel. Tried a few more times with no luck.
Is this an issue anyone else has had before or am I taking her to the shop to get checked out (and in that case, can anyone recommend a place in West Palm Beach, Florida?)

Not on my Tenere, but on my old Yamaha cruiser I had a similar issue.
Question: did it stall after coming to a stop, or upon slowing down? When opened up, would it stay running?

I ask because this was my experience. Ended up being a crack in my fuel pump (all plastic) that caused a drop in fuel pressure. It literally manifested overnight. I had to limp it home 90+ miles. Wide open on the freeway it would suck enough fuel to stay running but slow down or just let off the gas and it sputtered and wanted to die.

The other issue I've had is a clogged fuel filter, which on a lot of Yamahas is part of the fuel pump assembly.

This sounds like what I’m dealing be with. It only happened at a stop or low revs. At slightly higher speed she ran fine. Oh boy, I hope this doesn’t become expensive.

In that case, the first thing I'd check is fuel pressure. You can probably borrow a pressure gauge from Autozone/Checkers, etc.
If you have a manual you can lookup the pressure you should be getting. If not, I can take a picture of the pages and send them to you.
If the fuel pressure is low, pull the pump and inspect it. They aren't cheap but they are easy to replace.

When my fuel pump went out. Mine ran like crap at all speeds. Wouldn't idle at all. It was running fine when I parked it a couple of days before

Out of curiosity, was your an electrical failure or a physical failure? My pump ran fine, it had a crack in the housing that sent fuel back into the tank and lowered the fuel pressure.
I've had pumps fail mechanically or electronically (depending on the vehicle) but only had a physical rupture happen with the plastic Yamaha pumps.

I don't know. I took the fuel line off the fuel rail and touched the starter and it pump a ton of gas. I didn't test the pressure. I had no idea I could borrow a guage from an auto parts store. FWIW The shop said my pressure was low.

On the face of it, this sounds like fuelling, but could it be the sidestand switch/clutch switch interlock, where the bike thinks, randomly, that the stand is being deployed when in gear, so shuts down the engine? It's simple enough to bypass the system temporarily.

Are there any codes? - available through the dash on a 2014.

That did cross my mind - that it could be the center stand switch - but how could I bypass that.
There were no codes.

I know this isn't much help but with an 8 year old bike with 41,000 miles it could be virtually anything and will you'll need to step through the usual gas-air-spark troubleshooting.

I filled up just before the ride. The bike is garage kept and I’ll check the connections tomorrow.

Ive had a similar situation happen to me in the past with a different bike..... I pumped water & fuel into the tank... Once I drained the tank and good gas was put back in, everything was back to "normal".... (Thats where I would start)

Most likely, and easiest, cheapest place to start.
