Power band flat between 3k to 4k after valve clearance adjustment.

Once you adjusted the valves, and you had the cams back installed, did you go back and "check the valve clearance" again to double check your work ? BTW- you can see the cam sprocket horizontal (to the case) hash marks by peeking in from the back corner (intake) and the front corner with out...

    Fog light

I don't know of any that are direct bolt on................... BUT - pick the lights you would like to use for that application, and then come up with a mount.... The light can be bought "off the shelf"..... and there is a good chance you can find a mount "off the shelf"......... Add them...

    Radiator fan protection?

YES.... I think I had one side of some damaged Altrider crash bars at the shop.... I cut them up and mitered the tubes, then welded them in... that little plate with the three holes is supported by all Altrider stainless tubing.......... It has worked flawless !

    Radiator fan protection?

I had something somewhat similar years ago... I fell in the mud with a slow tip over. Mud was all jammed between the crash bars and radiator.... Long story short - the mud shoved the radiator approximately 1" inboard... Once I cleaned it all out and took a look, it had bent the radiator...

Rear brake weirdness, no rear ABS, and ABS light on- 2013 w/70K miles.

I’ve seen this (or something similar). Check the magnetic ring at the rear hub. Make sure it’s clean. But the issue ‘might’ be damage to the wire. From the sensor up to the harness up under the seat if I remember correctly. If you have ever ridden in dirt with a high iron content and...

Looking for your wisdom on panniers

I forgot to mention.... You could probably find the original "stock" bags available for cheep........ The locks suck, and the mounting is not "great"... But they are pretty strong and rebuildable... Short Story: Was with a buddy and we happen to be riding Monument Valley / Mexican Hat...

    ticking tapping noise

If you listen carefully you can hear the valves sometimes. I’m not totally sure if it’s a loose valve or a tight valve. But I’ve noticed ticking before, performed a valve check, adjusted the valves, and after that tick is all but gone. A tick could be an extra loose or tight valve.

    Alpinestars Tech7 Boots

Look awesome. Once they are broken in I’m sure you will enjoy the extra protection. I’ve been wearing the Gaerne SG12 for about ten years now. I believe they have saved me from at least two broken ankles and possibly a severe injury to my right foot. These have been separate incidents over...
