    24 Hr Review by FortNine

The bike is heavy, it's simple physics, it's going to transition side to side slower than a lighter bike. I can ride my 35hp DR650 on a tight road faster than my Tenere so I understand it is not about horsepower. What is one of the most popular mods to the Tenere? Getting the ECU reflashed...

    24 Hr Review by FortNine

No not my first big bike. I gained better throttle response with the ecu flash. If you can’t tell the difference between an over weight bike on tight roads your’e probably not riding fast enough to matter what bike you’re on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pretty accurate review. If I didn't get my bikes ecu flashed I probably would have gotten rid of it by now. It's hard to hustle it through tight twisties because of it's heft, but I appreciate that stability on the highway.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Installed an eastern beaver pc8 today. Thanks for the nice write ups here on installation ideas. Next will be installing the Oxford heated grips I got for Christmas.

    I've been Google Mapped

I've been caught by the Google maps street view car twice. Both times on my bicycle.

Why is the S10 not included in comparison reviews?

Rider magazine October 2016 issue has the Tenere in a 3 way comparison with the Triumph explorer and Honda VFR1200X

7 competitors for your side case patronage.

I got the oem bags on my Tenere because Yamaha was offering $1200 in free accessories at the time. They're light, fairly narrow, water proof and look decent on the bike. I doubt they would fair to well if the bike is dropped. The latches and locks suck. My top case was replaced under...

    Tenere Opinions

The OP hasn't checked back in so I hope he is out riding and enjoying his 12 Tenere. It would help to know if his bike is stock or has had any of the common mods. At 30,000 miles and not wanting hassles the easiest thing to do is keep the current bike. Do a couple of mods, ride another 30,000...

Results only, avc8130 Affordable Flash Option..

Nothing really new to add other than to say I am another happy customer. Anthony was quick to respond to my initial email, explained the options well, and sent a tracking number when he shipped the ECU. Turn around was less than a week. I only had a chance for a short ride with the new flash...
