S10 is a special bike and maybe not for everyone. I love my 2014 ES for it's comfort, handling and reliability. 1up on paved roads I'm always in S-mode. 2up, gravel and really slow riding I do in T-mode. Good luck finding another bike.

Motorcycle magasine Motorrad tried to do their longtest on BMW 1200gs this summer. The testperiod is normaly 50000 km, but the 1200gs only managed about 30000 km. They had to abort the test due to major gearbox failure... ::025:: Easy choise, so far 3000 km with my S10 2014 ES and smiling each...

I picked up my 2014 ES from 1000 km check today. Before this one I had a 2013 S10, but I couldn't live with the vibrations. I was considering changing clutchbasket, but my dealer made me a fair offer so I went with the 2014 ES. And gee am I happy I did... the 2nd gen (or maybe 3rd if XTZ750...

Yamaha isn't any better than BMW when it comes to letting custmers do the beta-testing. Just think about the crappy clutch basket on Super Tenere 2010-2013 that gives you numb fingers... ::)
