Rear Brake Failure (NOT disc or pads)

I have this problem. S10 2012, 40,000 miles. Last service the guy changed all the fluids, since then I've had a problem with the rear brake, had it bled again (twice) no brake unless you pump it. But if I grab the front brake when moving the rear pedal stiffens and if I apply a bit of pressure...

    Metzeler tourance made in China

Phoned my tyre man yesterday to order a Metzler Tourance for the S10. He say's now that they're made in China, his customers (mainly GS boys) are only getting about half the mileage. Have been happy with Tourance up till now, but looks like I'll be going for Conti's.

    MCN new S10 write up

MCN should do a long term road test, like 5 years. Where they have to get up at 6.00am every morning, do a 50 mile commute to work, in all weathers. Take it out every weekend for a couple of hundred mile run on all roads. Then take it touring a couple of times a year. Oh yeah and have to pay for...

    UK Super Tenere RECALL

Have been having an intermittent headlamp problem for a little while now. Took to Yam dealer Friday to try and get it fixed under warranty only to be told that they have had a recall notice in the last few days to fit the new improved harness to all super Tens and R1.

    Intermittent headlamp fault

About a month ago on returning home from work I noticed the right hand headlamp bulb was not working. Thought must be the bulb. Next day working fine and was untill a few days ago. I went for a longish ride and on returning home, bulb out again. Turned off the ignition, turned on again, both...

    important news on forks

I had my l/h fork seal replaced under warranty, at the 4,000 mile service, after 'persuading' my dealer to persue it, them claiming it was wear and tear. Had to pay for the fork oil though.

New Owner... Soon, hopefuly. UK, Kent.

Just been back to check it out. Yeah, it's a pre-reg 13plate, zero miles. £9,699 otr. Would have had myself if I'd seen it a few months ago. Aldershot have an ex-demo 11 plate with a few thou on it for the same money, which I 'tried' to buy of them last summer when it was about £10,000. I...

    HARD START

Re: Very hard starting today Have had my 2nd hand 2012 s-10 for just over three weeks now, had been really pleased with it, put a thousand miles on it. Had a run to the coast and back saturday. Sunday didn't ride, fitted tax disk, couldn't resist firing her up, let it idle for a min shut it off...

    Newbie from South East England

HI Rob, Welcome from Jefff in Hampshire, newbie myself. Had my 2nd hand worldcrosser ( matt grey ) just over a week now and this weekend was the first time I've been able to put it to the test. Wow, you won't be dissapointed. I have the Yam heated grips and Rasher is right the left one...

Hi from Jeff, Hampshire UK> New member

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I'm sure I've made the right choice, British bike press don't reckon that much, but what do they know. The clutch mod sounds interesting, think I'll wait for the warranty to expire first, I can't understand why Yamaha would restrict their bikes when all the...

Hi from Jeff, Hampshire UK> New member

Hello Guys. I have been hankering after one of these beasts for quite a while now. But they are just too damn expensive over here. Then a 6month old World Crosser came up for sale last week for reasonable money. Road it, loved it, had to have it. Took my trusty Bandit 1250 for it's last ride...
