To ride that slowley in first gear without moderating clutch, brakes and throttle would make you a very dangerous rider in traffic.
I'd suggest attending a rider training course that will cover slow riding techniques and you'll find riding in slow traffic a lot less stressfull. ;)
Been there once, 198kmh two up with hard luggage full enough for ten days in calm conditions.
Stable and predictable, may have gone to 200 but road was starting to get bumpy so wound it down.
Mine is paid for but I have to be careful with what I buy for it for fear of ramifictions.
In saying that I've been on the hunt for a second hand Akropovik since I bought the bike without any luck.
We have just replaced our old ride on mower with a nice new John Deere and I've sent the old one...
Sounds like the WR450 is what you need, more power than you can shake a stick at, wheelies in all gears and is only a few pounds heavier than the 250 ;)
I wonder how much KTM are kicking themselves for turning down Ewan and Charlie's request for one of their bikes? And good on BMW coming to thier party and wonder how many GS's were sold on the back of their programmes
