An interesting " weight " debate ........... I recall an experienced fellow rider following a mixed group of GS's,Tenere's,XT's etc on his nimble DR 650 through a reasonable 4 x 4 track.After a few spills and bike pick ups turned back tired and considering a lighter bike.Surely the useable...

My Super Tenere has covered around 4500km - doing around 50% tarmac , 40%good gravel and 10% rough trail.The Bridgestone Battlax come up short in soft sand / trail, but perfect for the rest. Any better replacement suggestions ?
