Yeah, Dan said he didn't think a gel would have helped me at this point he just added an inch and a half of new padding. unfortunately, nothing is comfortable now. I also have to sit on a rock-hard seat at work which really sucks. I had to buy a memory foam pad to sit on at work.

The owner of the company spent all day fixing the seat, but it is too late now. I usually do a 4 to 5k mile trip each summer. I am now riding a 2023 triumph 1200 explorer GT and I don't even know if I can ride this summer. I ride every week but there is no way I can bang out 500 mile days now...

Actually the guy who did my seat last year missed the spot where there is a 2x2 inch square cut out of the seat pan that has quarter inch lips facing up right at the tail bone. He only put a 1/2 inch of padding over it. It caused a major tailbone injury I am still dealing with today. I am seeing...

I hate to say this and I really hated to find out the hard way but Triumph has now put it's self in the GS league. This is why I ride alone. Triumph wanted 500 bucks for the 1st oil change I told them to go pound sand, I change my own oil....But... You can't turn off the service light you have...

The closes I got to a big KTM was my 300 exc..That bike was handful The big KTM's aren't meant for the riding I do, I'm a street'er I went off road this weekend with the Triumph and that 580lbs pounds on the dirt with street tire wasn't real reassuring.

I have got my 1st 1000 mile on the triumph. There is quite a difference between the 2. The ST is a lumbering old cozy Cadillac much more smoother than the triumph. The Triumph vibrates at 5K it is like driving a finely tuned race car and that is how the comfort is too it also makes my fingers...

Yeah the guy who bought it knew he was going to buy it before he even seen it. I think Yamaha screwed the pooch stopping production on that bike. I guarantee they will start making them again.

Mac10 sent me his template but it got all cut up in the making. The plate was only 20 bucks but the hardware was 62. I have extra screws I can send you but you have to buy stackers at around 4 bucks a piece
