As much as it pains me to even think about it, last year I did a 3300 mile tour, and my hands tingled for a week thereafter. I thought that it was due to it being a long trip and dismissed it as such. Yesterday, after a Fanta 300 mile trip, the same thing happened. Thank god for cruise control, I was able to modify my grip and make it home. I have Oxford grips, and use a variety of different types of gloves. It doe seem to vibrate anymore than it used to, I think I'm just getting old.
I logged an 1100 mile blast on my FJ1200, and not a single tingle, but I don't want to farkle the heck out of the old classic.
I'm a bit bummed, as I've been refining my setup and have it just right for LD work, but this might turn out being a dealbreaker.
Throttle bodies have been synchronized, and it runs like a dream. I think it's just the nature of the beast.
Please don tell me I need to sell it and get a Goldwing...
