Are you sure he said you would gain 18 extra horsepower ? More likely 1.8
MFP interested in seeing the Wunderlich visor once installed and comments on fit/ease of install - thanksLooking forward hopefully for some free time tomorrow to finally install a Garmin Zumo XT with a visor from Wunderlich, a custom made, lockable nav mount by MotoPumps for the 22mm crossbar on my Madstad bracket and a S10 specific wire harness by Electrical Connection for the hidden aux. connector on the S10’s right side under the lower cowling.
Stay tuned if interested to see the final result…
Big Bill sorry for the delayed response - I would not qualify this skid plate as easily removable. Depending on what you ride on road/offroad you can consider something less stout if doing only/mainly road riding !Muybig your engine skid plate looks great. So does the rest of the improvements, is the skid and easy removeal for an oil change? Thanks
Hell if I know, I'm half deaf in my right ear and there was someone to my right revving their bike, so maybe he said -18, maybe he said 8, maybe he said tomato. What do I know. Are you sure he said you would gain 18 extra horsepower ? More likely 1.8
Love that color! Finally got around to replacing steering head bearings , longer brake and clutch lines and tall pro taper bars. Made a big ergonomic difference for a tall rider. Should have done this long ago. A week of rain was my motivation.View attachment 101475View attachment 101475View attachment 101476
Just make sure that both led chips are on both sides, not up and down, or tiltedLED's fitted, will see how they go (or last)
These are projector light specific, they are a bladed design, two LED chips at the tip (maybe 45 degrees)
Was a bit of a squeeze fitting everything in and getting the caps back on. If they work great, if not back to halogen with the AUX lights filling in the holes.View attachment 101366View attachment 101367View attachment 101368
Thanks, have them up and down, tried them at night, real sharp cut off to the beam pattern, will give then a 90 degree twist left/right respectively, see how that goesJust make sure that both led chips are on both sides, not up and down, or tilted
Well, just turned them, 100 percent better, much better beam pattern. Thanks for the tip. Thanks, have them up and down, tried them at night, real sharp cut off to the beam pattern, will give then a 90 degree twist left/right respectively, see how that goes
Since you already left the led chips, positioned correctly (which gives you the correct pattern), you should correct the light beam. In general, the beam of light comes, a little low and a little centered in the middle......first open them a little (especially the one on the right).....then you can go testing the height of the beam...(the adjustments have to be be very little and try). And check the power of the lamps, on the market there are 35W and 50W H7 led lamps "EACH LAMP".....not together......more Watts, more light powerWell, just turned them, 100 percent better, much better beam pattern. Thanks for the tip.
Our red bikes are really nice looking. Finally got around to replacing steering head bearings , longer brake and clutch lines and tall pro taper bars. Made a big ergonomic difference for a tall rider.
