Looking forward hopefully for some free time tomorrow to finally install a Garmin Zumo XT with a visor from Wunderlich, a custom made, lockable nav mount by MotoPumps for the 22mm crossbar on my Madstad bracket and a S10 specific wire harness by Electrical Connection for the hidden aux. connector on the S10’s right side under the lower cowling.
Stay tuned if interested to see the final result…

Muybig your engine skid plate looks great. So does the rest of the improvements, is the skid and easy removeal for an oil change? Thanks
Big Bill sorry for the delayed response - I would not qualify this skid plate as easily removable. Depending on what you ride on road/offroad you can consider something less stout if doing only/mainly road riding !

Like many on here I fitted the larger caps purchased from member "deftoner"...great vendor to deal with, shipped all the way to Melbourne, Australia.
Like many the world of LED globes is a mine field.
I have fitted AUX lights, on the off chance of not finding a worthwhile H7.
Having hit one too many kangaroos and being a 365 All season rider/commuter, having suitable lighting is a must.20230503_160946[1].jpg
Although I will say the stock lights on my 2018 are so much better than the ones on my 2010.20230513_173427[1].jpg

Removed worn out rear tire with 10,000 miles , I have spare rear wheel so installed that with about a half worn out Bridgestone . Couple years ago someone mentioned using one of those airbag things to help support the rear wheel so I bought one from Harbor Frieght and today finally got to use it, worked great, really makes slipping the axel in or out much easier.
New Lithium Scorpian Stinger battery arrived today along with the new Optimate charger, charged the battery, hopefully tomorrow will have time to install it and see if it cranks any better. The battery comes with a push button with some led lights that’s supposed to tell the condition of the battery, lithium batteries are not supposed to be shipped over 30% charged, the indicator lights showed mine was fully charged when it arrived so I’m wondering if those indicator lights are accurate, it took the Optimate charger a couple hours to show fully charged.

LED's fitted, will see how they go (or last)
These are projector light specific, they are a bladed design, two LED chips at the tip (maybe 45 degrees)
Was a bit of a squeeze fitting everything in and getting the caps back on. If they work great, if not back to halogen with the AUX lights filling in the holes.View attachment 101366View attachment 101367View attachment 101368
Just make sure that both led chips are on both sides, not up and down, or tilted

Well, just turned them, 100 percent better, much better beam pattern. Thanks for the tip.
Since you already left the led chips, positioned correctly (which gives you the correct pattern), you should correct the light beam. In general, the beam of light comes, a little low and a little centered in the middle......first open them a little (especially the one on the right).....then you can go testing the height of the beam...(the adjustments have to be be very little and try). And check the power of the lamps, on the market there are 35W and 50W H7 led lamps "EACH LAMP".....not together......more Watts, more light power

Got my bike back from the shop last night, but it was raining so no chance to really crack it open post-dyno. I'm still waiting on the graphs/summary of changes to be emailed to me. They do good work but they're not exactly responsive.

Butt dyno says the power delivery is a lot smoother. It pulls hard in every gear but first is still slightly anemic, as it should be. But I can pop first, second, and third, and be up to 80 before I know it, so the power bands are definitely much better aligned. Two times I felt the bottom slide slightly before grabbing traction again, could have been riding in the wet, could have been the extra pull, I'll figure it out later.

Throttle is way less snatchy though, so, big ups there for the dyno guys I went to.
