where did you TAKE your Tenere today?

Went to the beach today. Temperatures are in the mid 30's C / 92F with high humidity, so it was great to get in a quick dip. There are many great beaches on the west coast of Cape Breton Island but for me one of the closest is Belle Côte. It's a quick 25min run there on the famous Cabot trail. Not wanting to leave my riding gear unattended on the bike I brought a large dry bag to bring it with me. Next time I will remember to bring a folding chair.

I have to work today but that did not stop me from a quick run up to the top of Mt. Lemmon. The road starts 10 minutes from my house and offers one of the coolest motorcycle roads in the US. Over 6000 feet in elevation gain and a 25 degree temperature drop. I never get tired of this fun ride.

Azmike and sierra1 - lol - Either way, there would have been at least a 10 mile hike to the closest main fs road one way, and probably about the same the other way. There is no cell service in that area.
