OK. My bike is 6 years old and has covered 46k miles
When I bought it brand new back in March 2015 I had Givi crash bars installed by the dealer
According to the Givi installation download the bars should bolt over item 15 in the diagram below
(Stay, Engine Part No, 2BS-21318-00)
I've just noticed that it is missing on my bike........must have been left off by the dealership when the Givi crash bars were fitted all those years and miles ago
It appears to just bolt onto the front of the engine, so is it a protective plate? The Givi bars have massive brackets here which should offer some protection
I suppose after 6 years and 46k miles I needn't be too concerned but
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Cheers
