Well that speaks 1000 words!
That does not look like a good time. Looks like pretty slick tires as well, so zero chance in that clay!Pics from the Utah slop fest.
OMG, I would not like to go through that surface. The tires did not help you either. Glad to hear that there were only minor damages to you and the bike. That is encouraging!Pics from the Utah slop fest.
Hi BaldKNob, are those just bent cells or the radiator is actually perforated and leaking water?
What's wrong with taking a nap at a campsite? Seems natural to me. (I'm guessing the kickstand sunk?)
The radiator isn’t bent but 4-5 rails in the core were worn thru by the fan. It took a couple months and, of course, happened to spew when I was 150mi from home.Hi BaldKNob, are those just bent cells or the radiator is actually perforated and leaking water?
You would be correct sir! What's wrong with taking a nap at a campsite? Seems natural to me. (I'm guessing the kickstand sunk?)
Yeah, it was the dealership owner who IS a very cool guy. I've bought 2 bikes from him so far, including the dropped Tenere.Pretty cool dealer reaction
The tires were actually a pretty good set of 705’s. I had just replaced the rear before starting my trip back. They do pretty well in everything but mud. To be fair, I don’t think any tire would’ve helped much in that slop. That does not look like a good time. Looks like pretty slick tires as well, so zero chance in that clay!
Started riding this season in March, one drop. Oh oh, now it's May, no drops yet.I haven't dropped mine.
This month.
So far.
Hey Chaz,Its an easy bike to drop.
I drop mine a few times. Just little sratches on the Crash bars (touratech is stainless steel so not paint damage) and handguards.
I begin to see my bike as a tool to have fun! And when you start using your tool right you don’t care about scratch and ding so much!
Très bon but expensive tool!Hey Chaz,
Yup It's a tool and a tool tres bon!
