Good evening
In a few days I pick up a new to me 2014 Tenere ES. I have a Garmin 590lm satnav which I will be fitting to the bike.
Due to the fact I have zero expertise in bike electrics I fitted the satnav to my last bike (BMW GS800) direct to the battery with no problems whatsoever. I have heard of people saying it can flatten the battery, but the GS would always start first push of the button even when stood for a few months.
So, will this method be ok on the Tenere ?
I also plan to fasten it to the accessory bar above the dash, or will the unit vibrate too much? I have seen the support arms on another thread which I may look into purchasing.
I have tried the search function but can't find any results
Cheers
