Wiring Heated Grips and GPS??

So, I want to help a friend with his new black ST. We want to wire up a Zumo GPS and heated grips.

I understand there are 2 empty plugs under there somewhere, one for heated grips and the other for aux lights.

Where can I get the other half of these plugs?? Tried Eastern Beaver, but he no have yet...

Actually, the two connectors have mating connectors attached, although I did not look close to see if they are real or just dummy. If real, perhaps the plugs could be removed from the holes and mating contacts installed.

The other option (as I did) was install a FZ-1 fuzeblock and power all my accessories from it.

Rod, what did you use for a trigger wire and did you pick it up on the right side?

I picked up the trigger off the 4-pin heated grip plug. Seems like it was a blue/black wire. Easy to check - just flip the ignition switch on and look so which one comes to life.

Are you going to make me do a search to find the picture that someone posted a few weeks ago showing the two plugs?

They are in the bundle just above and to the left of the tool kit.

Thanks, that's all I needed. I have the FZ1 wired up, just needed the trigger.

He has these on his website, so are you saying he is out of stock?

The other ends are already on the plug. All you will need are the pins. You can buy these from your dealer or the tech.

The plugs are on the right side, above the tool pouch.

No, I emailed him, asking did he have them yet. He asked me to take a pic and he would try to get them. So, I just assumed he did not have them yet, or meybe he has them, but doesn't know just what all they fit.

I sent him pics of both plugs both covered and uncovered yesterday, so unless he needs different angles or something, he should have what he needs.
