Though I'm happy as a clam with my stock OEM Super Ténéré muffler, and have no plans to put on any sort of afermarket "can", I thought some of you guys might find this interesting...

"Yamaha Akrapovic Super Tenere Exhausts
Great combination of price, quality and performance

Akrapovic Titanium Street legal Slip-on, dual exhaust system
Suitable for the following model: XT1200Z Super Tenere; '10-'12"
Anybody seen anything else about this?

I don't need more power, I don't want more decibels.

I wouldn't mind a better sounding exhaust note ...
but ....
damn, that'd just be cool looking and if it carried a sweet sound I'd probably be in.

UK crowd .... someone needs to take one for the team!

Yambits don't normally make such mistakes. I've phoned and left a message. Lets hear what they have to say.

I can't see from the pics how it might fit on the bike - two small mufflers side-by-side? Stacked vertically, maybe that would work. But I think most likely this is the wrong pic, and it's an R1 underseat system.

If the picture is any indicator, that thing won't fit a S10, check out the down tube!

Yup, Akropovic have just officially replied to my email and confirmed that this is a mistake and Yambits are showing the wrong pic.

The big clue was that it is a 'slip on kit', not a full exhaust system. It will work on the S10, but you can only 'slip on' one muffler can at a time! :D You get a spare to hang on the wall of the garage for art.
