Mounted the new to me AltRider crash bars. (The used Mastech will be going up for sale once I get them cleaned up and repainted.) Beat some dents out of the RideOnAdv plate while it was off. Even scrubbed crud off my headers. Now I need to relocate my auxiliary light. Any recommendations for 1" bar mounts? Also looking for bar protectors.

i used the sw motech crash bar light mounts not cheap but superb not moved at all, you can see the 2 spots mounted on my upper altriders
the sw motech come with rubber inserts so can be used on any size bar but far play very tight and solid

Just so you know the Shock Sox fit pretty flush to the upper fork tube and lower stanchions. Judging by your pics I think the Shock Sox would clear your carbon covers.
YMMV….

Well I finally got around to trying out the newly installed Arrow headers combined with Akra muffler.
The installation was back in November but never rode the bike till just recently.
After rolling around 500kms on this system I am very impressed with the torque increase, it is VERY noticeable, so noticeable that it feels more like the bike got a tune but it did not.
On top of the increased power the weight reduction is huge. As for noise and sound, slightly more throaty on the throttle, not loud.
I know many say why on pipes, imo, this is a very good mod, anything that drops this much weight and gives a very noticeable power increase is a winner.
Well worth the $$.

Agreed, done the same with a K&N and a tune. Great improvement.

That was my experience with the header install. Worth the money on that one.

I did that shortly after I got mine. I was going to just do the slip on but the header pipes were a good deal so I have arrow header’s and slip on.
I took the dbkiller out of the slip on and it’s heaps louder and does make a difference to throttle response.
I’m thinking of modifying the dbkiller insert to be less restrictive and put it back in sometime.

Yesterday - corrected my fork seal mistake. They don't work so well backwards. Remounting the wheel today I noticed my "normal" cupping front tire had three lugs bulging. Not good! Found a local dealer with the TKC-80 on hand. Mounted and balanced. Moving on to relocating and mounting new lights on the AltRider Bars.

Advise of the day: Check your tires! The whole tire. I did see someone else with a similar issue with the Mitas E-07+.

New battery! And i'd like to replace the headlights but I can't undo the screw holding the metal prong (holding the bulb in place), anyone have recommendations before I strip the screw?

You caught that one in time! Running the same tires. Never had that but they do cup seriously when wearing.

I’m a little lost about a screw holding the bulb in place… I know there’s a clip holding the bulb in but not seen a screw.

The screw doesn't come out. The clip has a groove you press in and up (I think) to release and it rotates out of the way. You can remove the whole headight assembly to better see it if necessary.
