It's 21.45 ish and I've just had a Typhoon do a 'show of force' right above my house. Feckin thing was on full afterburners and lit up the clouds. Very, very impressive. It circled probably six times .... scared the crap out of everyone. Like to see it again though.
I've just spent six months in the desert where that kind of thing is normal ... not in the middle of rural England though.

He was actually saying hello to his boss at Strike Command which is very close to my place. I love the fly boys ... they just don't give a stuff about anything. 8)

I've just been told that the pilot was actually laying out the Olympic rings. Apparently, they're practicing a display for the Olympic event in August.
