WANTED FRAME for 2017 Super Tenere 1200

Does anyone have or know where i can get a used frame for my super tenere.

Anyone else struck by the absolutely weird alignment of the planets it must have taken for a member on his first post who's looking for a Super Tenere frame to occur simultaneously with a member on only his fifth post, on the same day, having a Super Tenere frame available for sale? I don't think I've ever even seen a frame being offered for sale before.

It's a cosmically cool occurrence.

I bought the bike from the insurance company, the only damage was a broken perspex to fairing clocks are fine, one of the wing mirrors, one foot rest and a small dent to the tank and exhaust, but they classed it as a Cat B parts only which is crazy, so i thought if i could get a frame from the same year i'll reframe it.

How much £ are you in for here?

TBH, the plan doesn't sound viable, from an financial perspective.

Maybe, maybe not. I've read there's a difference in exhaust that makes switching skid plates; shouldn't be an issue. Your isn't an ES, so that's not an issue. The kickstand is different, but I don't know about the actual mounting point. TABASCO would know for sure.

Only thing I know is it’s easier to get the valve cover off/on a 14 than my 13.

You could be right. I was assuming Gen 1 v. Gen 2 mounting points.

No it's at the back of the garage at the moment, i will start placing enquiries with salvage yards and forums for a frame.
