2011 (60 reg), 19500 miles, dealer serviced (last one at 19k), Michelin PR4 tyres with just 500 miles of use, Yamaha aluminium hard luggage, Hein Gericke Daytona heated grips, Givi rack for a top box, 12 month MOT, black, ABS, TCS, linked brakes.

The pillion seat has a small nick in the vinyl but see below.

I am selling the bike as I would like a Yamaha MT09 Tracer. I have been offered a decent trade in and would like £7000 (UK pounds) for a private sale to give me a small advantage over the trade in. The dealer states he would advertise the bike for £7995 so I have priced it to give a good discount on a dealer sale.

Other bits available by negotiation:
Rider & pillion seat modified by Tony Archer with gel inserts
Baglux tank cover & black Alpha bag
Yamaha inner bag for one pannier
Set of Ferodo Platinum brake pads

The bike is located in Cheltenham. PM me to arrange a viewing

Not to hi-jack the thread, but what does the Tony Archer seat look like and how do you like it? I had mine done by him for the V Strom and thinking of getting it done for the S10.

BTW, good luck with the sale and the new ride ::008::

The first thing I noticed is that the edge of the seat compresses less. With the stock seat I would push back to get on the wider part of the seat. I do this less often with the modified one. Overall, with the gel insert you can ride longer between stops before needing to take a stretch - in fact it is my knee that tells me when to stop, not my arse.
The seat will be on offer to any potential buyer of the bike. If I end up trading the bike in then the seats will go on sale as a separate item.

::026:: on tony Archer seat, although I did not bother with Gel, just an extra inch or so of padding, same for the pillion seat which was a bit thin for the Mrs.

Thanks for the info on the seat. Also if you can, or want to, what's your weight and height?
5'8" tall with 32" inside leg
Weight: now 15 stone but has been just over 16 stone in the recent past.
A stone is 14 pounds.

The modified seat does not change the seat height - I bought it from someone on the UKGSer forum so I don't know the exact spec but I understand the foam used is firmer as well as a gel insert, which means no added depth to the seat.

I am about 6'1 1/2 with a short haircut and have long legs so did not mind a bit more foam as I can live with being an extra inch higher, although I think I maybe sink into the deeper padding quite a bit so probably not much higher than stock.

The good thing about Mr Archer is he can do pretty much anything you want ::008::

So, I've placed an order for a red Tracer to be picked up next month when the 15 plates come in.

I have agreed part-ex terms but if anyone want this bike then you have until the end of the month.

You could make an offer but as the guy at South Wales Superbikes said yesterday, the p-ex deal offered by Skellerns is very good.
