Except for "some" of the tubeless rims (BMW, Aprilia come to mind) all spoke rims have centerline attachment points. Yes, 1/8" is out of the norm but really won't hurt the operation of the bike. Usually .020" or less is acceptable.
Can it be trued a bit? It seems with them all attached to the center that it would make it a lot harder to pull that wide rim one way or the other.
