This is my son's 21st Birthday Present............................ he's 9 now so Trinity will be 30 years Old when he recieves her.

In the begining there was just a Kawasaki ZXR 750 L1 built in 1993

Stripped......!

into a thousand pieces..........

Then with some love................

Spit & Polish...............

I turned this.....................

into this.....................

And this is where I'm up to so far with "Trinity"

but with these all ready and waiting to go on I think she is going to be one very special 21st Birthday Present!

What do you think?

Nice looking work you have done so far!!

did you go through the engine as well? Buying used bikes, specially sport bikes makes me wonder if the previous owner even changed the oil as they bounce off the rev limiter with great frequency.

The answer to that question is sadly no but what I did do is buy a motor with 5000 miles on the clock, varified by all the paperwork. So I'm happy with that OH! and it came with carbs and speedo. The bike is at my local dealers at the minute being checked over as I am not a mechanic. Can't wait to get her home now and start puting the finishing touches to her espcialy as Mr. T is almost finished.

Here's a picture compilation video I made back in Feb

Very nice! I did a lot of riding with a friend who had a ZX7R. Pretty much the same year by the looks of it. It sure was a capable sport bike. He had a D&D slip-on and loved to buzz people when horsing around. He'd come by as fast as possible at the highest RPM possible...quite the attention getter with that pipe. His bike was in nowhere near as good condtion as Trinity though. 8) He was a really good rider, but I used to love catching him off guard with a second gear balls to he wall acceleration on the Thunder Ace (YZF1000R). There was no standing up to that once the genesis engine hit power band and pulled to the top of that very tall second gear (5 speed). :D :D :D
