At a 4 way traffic intersection? A blinking green traffic light means an "advanced green", i.e. you can make a left turn at the intersection while the green light is blinking because oncoming traffic still has a red light. I have not seen those here in years, they have pretty much all been converted to a green arrow, or a separate left turn signal. With the green arrow, the top of the light is still red for traffic going straight, and only left turners can turn left (often in both directions).

Here in Newfoundland.
We still have a few of those blinking green lights, slowly being replaced with the arrow.
And of course our big moving speed bumps. ;D

As you know, that's where I'm heading so good to know what to do with old blinky.

Is a moving speed bump a moose? I've ridden around New England roads in the US and Nova Soctia and always seen moose signs. Never seen a moose in thousands of miles of riding. Am I likely to see one in Newfoundland?

Yes the speed bump is the Moose.
We seen 3 so far this week in the daytime,so no bump.
Gros Morne has the biggest population of moose if you can't see one there your driving with your eyes closed :))
Most are seen at night so try to limit your travel then.

So, maybe I missed it, but is there a way change from MPH to KPH? I looked through the owners manual, but didn't see anything obvious.

Hold down the button to reset the odometer until it changes from MPH to KPH. You may have to put it on the odometer (not trip) setting first.
