Travel to California

I'm planing to enter California from Oregon and I'm wondering if I will be stopped at the border. My 2013 Tenere is running a full Arrow exhaust - no cat. I will be heading south out of Grants pass and I know the last time I was through there we hit a check stop at the border. Do you think I will have any problems?

I highly doubt it, they don't really care not to mention I doubt they have the training to even identify it. I'm also pretty sure that emission law only pertains to CA registered/licensed motos. Which is why half of the cars you see have out of state plates...

Highly doubt they care at all about that, I've went through from Oregon to ca and opposite way on my GS with a full Remus with no issues. Don't remember ever being stopped.

You will not have any issues....unless you're bringing in fruit. Lol

Don't worry about it, most likely they will wave you right through. Their main worry is transporting agricultural products and attendant pests into the state.

My travel plans are pretty loose. I'm leaving sept 3rd for Vancouver from there I want to camp along the Oregon coast for a night or two and then make my way through the Redwood forest of Northern California. After that I will head east and make my way back north. I will let my Buttler maps and the weather be my guide.

Mr Butler does a good job of showing the good roads/routes.
