Top Case Latch - Replacement

Hi All,

Would anyone know where I can purchase a replacement OEM top case latch (see photo below - only the plastic part with the lock inside and the hook). Mine broke when I had to force open the lid, because the lock fell out!

The only individual parts for the top case you can order are the keys/tumblers and the lid.

I'd suggest to you that this might be a good time to replace the entire top case setup

I bought mine as is knowing the latch was broken. After several hours of trying to fix it I decided to take the duct tape approach. I cut the "arm" that hold the release handle in place and tape it down when mounted. The lock latch swings loose but connect tight when in in the locked position.

I have a complete top box that I broke into. The lid is damaged and I have no idea what condition the latch and mechanism is in but it was working perfectly up until I busted into the box. $50 for the whole box if you are interested. Located at Moorebank.
