I needed to replace my 1/2inch draive socket set. Went to a local tool store and decided on a Proxxon 65 piece set. This stuff is absolutely beautiful .... German engineering. v ery nice. Best of all though I got with a 30% discount. Firstly they priced it incorrectly in their coding and then were insistent upon giving me a 10% military discount. Brilliant £140 kit for less than £90. Oh yeah it has a complete 1/4 inch set included as well. ::008::

I have a set of Proxxon metric combination wrenches. Very slim design and nice fit in the tool roll.

Word is that Proxxon is no longer importing hand tools into the USA. What a shame.

I've been putting the kit to good use all day. Fitted Pro Bolt gear to the FZ6 ... sprocket nuts, axle nut and disc bolts. Then fitted my new alarm to the Thunderbird. Changed the front discs and pads on my wifes Land Rover. Must find something else to mess with tomorrow.
