I've noticed one difference with the S10 though:

My Tiger 1050, and every Triumph I rode, had really short gears and could have done with a 7th or 8th. The S10 however pumps along quite happily in 5th at highway cruising speed in Aus, 110klm/h. There are times when I forget to bump it up to 6th. But at least when you do, 6th isn't like the giant leap in gearing that BMWs have. That thing is like an Economy gear.

Do you are any of the Forum have a Signal Minder (SM) installed?

If yes, which model SM?

On what year model S10? e.g. 2014 S10 ES?

Thanks
From their site it looks like you'd need a SM3 if your S10 is 2010-2013.

I also do this constantly.
It is a habit that has been with me for many years .
I have had bikes with self-cancelling blinkers and I still hit this button obsessively .
I even did when I rode a RoadKing HD.

I recall many years ago buying a Signal Minder for my 2008 KLR650 and it did not go well.

Instructions suggested you remove / modify the spring inside the KLR650 turn signal switch. I declined after looking closely at the switch and realizing that if it did now work well I would likely have to buy a new ($$$) turn signal assembly.

So while I want to have running lights and a turn signal minder .... looking for someone who has successfully installed a SM3 or ? Signal Minder on the 2014 + S10 (With LED turn signals)

Anyone?

Yes the SM-3 is the correct one for the Tenere and all our signalMinders are plug and play for the self canceling. If you want the other futures to work you will need to hook up the running light option harness which requires you to tap into your turn signals and modify your handle bar switch with the return springs. Everything you need is in the kit.

Installed one on my 12, no issues, they give you foam and steel springs, the springs are only needed for the additional features.

I bought one of these. I can’t, for the life of me, work out where it “plug and play” connects. I power the bike and turn on the turn signal looking for a clicking relay. Nothing clicks. I tried following the service manual wiring diagrams but that’s like reading hieroglyphs.

I’m attaching a photo in case anyone has a clue.
My Tenere is a 2015. Any help would be much appreciated.
thanks!

Some of the claims Kisan makes about being plug and play are very misleading, they use the very unreliable Scotchlock plugs to tap into the wiring harness on your motorcycle , it doesn’t sound like you have those hooked up yet.
i bought a new in the package Kisan headlight modulator from a friend for my Goldwing that had never been installed, after I found out about having to use scotch locks to install the supposed plug and play modulator I never installed it, it’s stil sitting unused in my garage.

No! I don’t have anything hooked up yet. When I installed one of these on a Honda I popped out the relay and plugged in the signalminder. Then all I had to do was locate a brake signal to tap into. Are you sayin all the connections need tapped into? What the hell is this connector it came with for?

Hopefully it came with installation instructions, did you read them ?
You might try contacting the guy from post number 28 he apparently will be able to help you, apparently he is a Kisan tech

Did you check page 20 ?
Sure wish I could be of more help but I definitely ain’t a wiring guy.
Have you tried contacting Harry from post number 28 ?
After the issues I had with the Kisan headlight modulator i pretty much decided to never buy anything made by Kisan again but if you ever manage to get your signal minder hooked up and working properly I just might buy one.
