Houston, We Have a Problem......
It was brought to my attention that Moonshine is also having a gathering on April 27. I believe they are dedicating a bench to Terry on that day.
We're not in a hurry to compete with Moonshine especially if they are doing something to honor Terry nor do I think many would come to Fulton if faced with making the choice between the 2. The info was brought to my attention by a local group that pretty much said "We're going to Moonshine good luck with your event".
We can't move it back a week because The Slimey Crud Run is the following weekend and I'm leaving on a 4 Corners ride.
Not sure making it a week earlier is a great idea because the WI weather would be even more iffy....
I'm not sure how much interest there would be in back to back rides across the midwest in April?
I'm open for suggestions. Do we damn the torpedos and go forward with April 27? Is there enough interest to support 2 events the same weekend in April in the Midwest? Need to hear people's thoughts especially those that attended last year.
