Yesterday me and a friend took a quick trip from Santiago (capital of Chile) to the mighty Andes Mountain on a Yamaha Rhino 700
All i can tell is that the Rhino passed over everything, it´s top speed is about 70 kms/hr
With one gas tank (20 litres?... i don´t sure) we made 120 kms, and climbed from 700 meter over the sea level to 3.300 meter over sea level
It took us just an hour to get to the hidden lagoons (Lagunas de los vientos - "Windy Lagoons" i think it´s the translate) - our average speed was 40 kms/hour
We take some mining roads (Los Bronces - cooper mine) and some super OffRoad tracks over the mountain
