I was just curious about the difficulty of installation, I have the film types but installation is awfully invovled,

I put them on my VFR and install is pretty much "slap it on"ValpoFz said:

The angles of the S10 tank had one side tank protector pick up on me. Unfortunately occured prior to an off-road weekend. By the time i noticed the adhesive was full of grit.
any way to clean it and get it to stick back down? The area is about an inch near the edge for a couple inches back to a point.
If can't be cleaned can i get just one side instead of the whole kit?
