I still plan on manufacturing replacement pillion foot-pegs/carriers to suit the MotorradWorks cat back exhaust system (one day).
I generally always ride without the pillion pegs, (and therefore obviously without the heat shield) and I got sick of burning the cuff of my Klim pants as it flaps in the breeze, so, I decided it was high time I made a guard to stop it.
I actually made a couple as one of the mates I ride with also rides without the pillion pegs, but he wears jeans with tighter fitting leg cuffs.
This is the result, and although temporary, works very effectively..
As I said, I WILL make the pillion peg carriers one day and they will have an integral protective shielding guard so this is not something I plan to offer out.
