Hello all yamahasupertenere members!

Its Bruno here from Future Vision HID. This is my first post on the site, I'm here to introduce myself and an exclusive offer going on right now being made available to a small number of forums of motorcycle enthusiasts.

Some of you may already know of me and my company, I've been selling high performance lighting products for over 5 years now, specifically HID and LED lighting systems for almost any mobile application. Most of the product line offered is industrial grade and well suited for the tough riding conditions you might subject them to on a regular basis.

I'm very approachable if you have any lighting related questions, install issues, or if you want to discuss any type of custom application. If its about HID and LED lights, lets talk! I would be happy to discuss your install no matter how simple or complicated your question(s) may be. You can always contact me directly: bruno @ futurevisionhid.com

Starting today till September 15th, I'm running a promotion to move some of the HID inventory to make way for many exciting new LED lights making there way into the market. Here is the deal on now, full details available at this link (this link is not being made available to the general public):

I can vouch for Bruno's products, I have two sets of the FV 90 Driving lights ( the first set bought at full price and the second set through a buy similar to this ). I have also used his HID replacement bulbs. Quite a few people I know have used his lights in long distance events, see the testimonial section of his webpage.

Disclaimer

Bruno offered a special discount to those individuals who participated in the 2011 Iron Butt Rally and to riders who had previously finished the Iron Butt Rally.

I bought one set of lights lights through that program. I helped arrange that program to assist the Rally Riders and prior rally finishers. A lot of us ride at night and there is substitution for great lights at night in remote areas.

I suggested to Bruno that he put together a similar program for the Tenere Forum.

Suggestion

If you buy auxillary driving lights I would suggest that you wire them separately. That way you can set your right driving light up to cover the right shoulder and forest to watch for animals and leave it on all the time while not bothering oncoming traffic.

Your left light can then be switched on and off independent of the right side's light so as not to bother oncoming traffic while still giving you the illumination of the right light. There is another added benefit with these separate circuits your lights are independent and if you hit something or drop your bike you can likely still run one HID light

So far, the HID conversion kits aren't working very well with our projectors.....unless Bruno has a kit that perfectly places the capsule within the projector and has a way to make our projector lenses clear. Just plugging-in a set of H7 based bulbs doesn't quite do the trick.

The separate driving lights are a different story as the bulb and reflectors are well suited to one another.

I'll admit I am not familiar with the Tenere, but our laser calibrated bulbs work very well in every projector I have tried them in.

Since I dont have access to a Tenere I would be willing to offer someone on this forum a kit for half price just to try them out and offer some feedback. If it doesn't work out I would accept them back and refund. Send me a private message if you are interested.

Well that sounds promising. I think the difference might be that the S10 projectors have a solenoid operated 'eyelid' for switching between low and high beam and the projector glass isn't completely clear because the bulbs are halogen. You never know though...maybe your HID kit will work where others have failed.

I understand, Bruno has some install testing going on with a friend of mine's Tenere at present.

Updates when I get them

also the bixenon bulbs might get on the way of the dust cap
The Tenere uses H7 bulbs which are single beam so the HID bulbs wont have the large base. From what I've learned the Tenere has a H/L type projector that controls the beam function, not the bulb. Its probably like the bi-xenon projectors we offer.

There are 3 different H7 bulbs being tested with 35W and 50W configurations. As soon as there is some information available, it will be posted here.

Comments from my customer was all very positive. I do not have any pictures or further information to share at this but initial report was very good.
