Today's progress,

Got the windshield hardware mounted.
Rear rack cover
New footpeg
Swapped the meter on from my 16es and took it for a test run.

Issues:
Check Engine light on
Gear display doesn't show gears
Radiator fan doesn't come on at 217
Cruise light just blinks when button is pushed.

So what's the latest? Worth the effort? A similar bike showed up in Wisconsin. Any parts you couldn't get?

Just got an email today that an estimated on stock date for the meter is 3/18/25.

Good thing it's winter here.
Man, that is one slow boat!

Radiator is in and is working great. Fan is working like it should.

I have to figure out some headlights.

For headlight, have a look at Harley-Davidson fat bob. Early models had a dual light setup and later models have one oblong LED unit. Check ebay for used ones and there are numerous aftermarket options. Likely much better lighting and should fill the space. I considered this after my wreck but ended up epoxying mine back together.
I'm glad the radiator works for you, but I'm not sorry I bought a new one.

Meter is mounted,

Some observations: with the meter from my ES on there the suspension light was on. Clock would not set.

New meter: clock sets like normal, and no suspension light. Same part # for Es and non. 20250101_080401.jpg

Setting the clock on my ES is usually pretty difficult, I don’t think the buttons work properly most of the time.

I'm guessing that the meter maintains some sort of memory with the ecu?

Clock works on the Es and the clock works on the new meter.
