I had a SW Motech skid plate on my 2012 for 34,000 miles and liked it a lot. Easy on and off for oil changes and it held up well. When I bought my 2014 ES in July, I bought another one and had it powder coated black. I did a slight modification to a bracket so it would clear the larger cat convertor on the 14. No problems at all. If you read my thread about my adventure fitting an ACD plate, (http://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?topic=14153.0) you may recall that I got a good taste of off roading the S10 at the AR rally in October, so decided to add a bit more protection, as I plan to do more off road riding. Therefore, I have this SW Motech plate for sale. With my slight mod, it will fit the 12,13, 14, and 15 models.
I bought it from Twisted Throttle and they get $269.99 plus shipping for it. The powder coating cost me $45. I'll sell this very good plate for $150 plus shipping.
