Soft Bag Side Quick Mounts - Affordable Options, with quality?

I am putting together a soft bag system and was checking out these quick mount options. They look very convenient but $300 bones for two plates....

Does anyone make a nice one that is reasonable on the price side?

The two that I have found so far-

https://wolfmanluggage.com/collections/harnesses-mounts/products/pikes-peak-rapid-release-rack-plate

http://www.giantloopmoto.com/product/gl-pannier-mounts-motorcycle-soft-luggage/

I guess not too much competition and a specialized item commands a premium price.

Thank you for any ideas other than just not using one. Which maybe an option if I cannot get over the costs vs. what it is. But this would be so easy.

I like these, Craig:

http://www.twistedthrottle.com/sw-motech-quick-lock-sidecarrier-yamaha-xt1200z-super-tenere-10-evo-style-for-givi-trax-alu-box-krauser-sidecases

They will fit a range of soft luggage, they are extremely well made, and they mount / dismount in about 1 minute. That's 30 sec per side.

I've read that the downside (besides high price) is that they *might* come off in a get off. I have no experience with that, but I could see how the turn bolt toggles that hold the frames in place, could possibly rotate in an encounter with side force. *Maybe*.

I like them, and have been using mine for a couple years now. Rock solid design.

Another choice might be to use solidly mounted pannier racks (not these quick dismount type that I use), and then use a "backer" plate for the luggage.

Mosko Moto makes the backer plate I would use, in that case. You can get a lockable option if you need that.

OK, that might work. Instead of buying a rack system and then the quick release plates for some $600, this system essentially has both together. I assume you leave the bags attached and just disconnect the whole rack when not needed.

Thank you.

That's right. I like the "clean" look when the racks are removed.

You're welcome :)

Has anyone found a way to make Wolfman Rocky Mountain bags work on the Jesse racks? There would need to be some modification.
