Yes, I gave in to the white 2013! Just need time to ride. I'm thinking this bike could be my grail for riding 2 up. Lots or room, very decent ergo's, decent weight for the room available.
i'm thinking I might know a few here. :)

Hey Mike. Glad to see you bought a Super Tenere. No need for a Doohickey but you can manufacture Raising / Lowering Links, both Rear Decks, Kickstand Foot, Accessory Plate, and a few other This & Thats. Surely Carl has been your mentor during this purchase.

Oh, this huge, huge I tell you!

For you KLR guys, this is the Eagle Mike who manufactures the replacement "Balancer Shaft Adjustment Lever" (aka "doohickey" ) and a significant contributor to that community.

As much as he likes KLR's he has always ridden big BMW's for touring. He just couldn't bond with his K1600GTL, so he sold that and bought a Tenere. Don't know how much I influenced the decision, just that I always rave about how capable my Tenere is!

So welcome Mike ::004:: and lets get started on some Tenere products!

Welcome, eaglemike, from another former KLR doohickey customer of yours. I hope you like the Super Ten as much as we all do.

Thanks very much for the welcome!! I'm looking forward to meeting people here.

Yes, I like this bike a lot, even with very low miles so far. Comfort, very nice handling, decent power - and a great owner community! what's not to like? :)

Welcome to the community, Mike. I too am KLR convert, and just referenced you and Wyman in an post a few days ago. Talked to you a few times with Mike Hogan from central Iowa.

Glad to have you in these parts.

Welcome on, eaglemike. THE EAGLE MIKE. I was trying to install my new EM doohickey on to my KLR one day and I couldn't get it to go, so in desperation I phoned this guy, as he said you could. Got a recording. Left my name and number and thought "yeah, right" and carried on with my installation. Well, damn if he didn't phone me back, solved my problem right over the phone. Impressive. Welcome to the Forum, Eagle Mike. Glad to have you. ::004:: R. ::022::

Welcome Eagel Mike, as another KLR owner i am very aware of the great things you did for many KLR owners. Good news is it appears the Tenere requires less in the engine modifications, but I know you will assist us with new modifications we didn't even know we are going to need.

Welcome and enjoy the new bike.
