Saw a vid recently posted here by spasm:

Yamaha SUPER TENERE XT1200Z HD.mov

Excellent vid btw. ::008::

Noticed the bike in the vid has Silver Wheels, and I like that. Anyone know, were those an option on Euro models, just the Silver bike, or what?

I think I remember seeing a reference on here somewhere about cost of new wheels, i.e. if someone wanted a 2nd set for on/off road sneaks say. I remember it being Very Costly! Well it is nearly tax season in the US but that usually means I give more vs have additional to spend/waste on another set o wheels.

So w/ that in mind, What would be the consensus on best/least cost way to get black wheels to silver ? vs colorizing them in something like MSFT Paint. ::025::

Thanks, dean ::001::

Powder coat or chrome. There are a number of shops in the states that specialize in chroming wheels. I priced having the Fatboy's cast aluminum wheels chromed. Est. $600 USD.

Don't know about the $ of powder coating.
