Generally when I purchase a new vehicle, I always find a do-dad or something to add to make it mine. I never really thought of this as a good luck charm, just a way of adding personality. My car and truck each have something small and unique I added shortly after buying them new, and both have been working trouble free for years.

What got me thinking about this "Talisman" was the fact I owned 4 motorcycles over the past 3 years. I don't count the used one, cause it already had personality. Had an '09 DR650 for a few months till a car decided she wanted to drive over us. Had an '09 BMW for 1 year until it was repurchased as a lemon. The common thing both bikes had? I never added a do-dad or "Talisman" to either one. My only bike left has had one since right after I brought it home.

I bring you Popeye cause, "I Yam what I Yam".

**And sorry I don't count the mass produced "Guardian" bells. It can't unique if everyone has one.

Looks like I will have to give this addition some serious thought. Why should Popeye and Bacon have all the fun.

This is funny, I've never seen this or thought of it before. I'll have to give this some thought on what represents me.

I never really thought about it, but my wife bought me a Biker Pig key chain a while back. Complete with bandana head cap, leather vest, goggles ... and he sings "Born to be Wild" when you squeeze his tummy. Maybe that's my Talispig. R

I don't have anything, but my wife likes to ride with her dragon from Tail of the Dragon.
