Is the price for seat pan exchange or does Sargent make their own seat pan?
Sargent makes their own pan. No need to send in your old saddle.

We try our best to level the seats to prevent that crushing forward slide, (this one was easy to level).

Front only storage compartment under the seat. (Rear didn't really have enough room without raising the passenger up too high.)

Sorry, just found out pre-registration has closed.

Mary
Thanks for checking in Mary. I've been pre-registered for a long, long time, when do you expect to start shipping this seat?

Regards, Paul

Per the Sargent website, the targeted release date is September 17th, one week from today!

I must have just pre-registered in time, as I registered in late August.

Did ya have to say 'crushing'? LOL

I know after my recent 9-day ride, for which day 3.5 is when the pain started, that I am anxiously anticipating this seat... thanks!

I pre-registered for the seat long time ago. Is Sargent going to contact everyone who pre-registered when they are ready to release the seat? Is the seat going to be the same height or a little higher than the OEM Seat? I hope it can be a bit higher than stock.

Guys,

I was in Jax this week so figured i would stop by the shop. They had lots of pans ready to be made up. I think he said they would start this week and if you pre registered you should be receiving an email late Friday, tomorrow. He thought they would be ready to ship good quantities on Monday...... With UPS I could possibly have mine on Tuesday....WOOOHOOO...

The emails are supposed to go out tomorrow (Friday) night. You can order on Monday.

EDIT; I posted this before I saw that Rush2112 had answered. SBTMF.

Well, isn't that *SPECIAL*!!! :D

Here I waited and waited for a Sargent saddle because I've been so happy with them on multiple bikes in the past, and I pre-registered for their's for when it became available... Only I got tired of waiting and was ready to pull the trigger on a Bill Mayer... Only then I got a nice deal from a member here on a Cee Bailey's modified seat, and have been using that. It's not bad at all, and certainly much better for all-day rides than the stocker, no matter what spacers you use, no matter whether I use a sheepskin pad or not...

And now - finally - Sargent is going to offer them for ordering this Friday, with shipping on Monday... And I'd like to order a full F & R set...

Only I'm leaving on a long trip either next Wednesday night or Thursday morning and won't be there to accept the package if I did order them!!! :'(

Oh, well... The Cee Bailey's will do fine for a while yet, and I guess that'll give me a chance to read the reviews on the Sargent from you guys before I pull the trigger on a set. ::001::

No problem! I have the solution for you!!! Simply have the new Sargent saddle drop shipped to my house and I will try it out for a few weeks - compare it to my BMS and give you a report back.

Deal?

'Cuz I'm not really sure where I'm gonna' be day-to-day, other that at some races on a Saturday... And what would I do with my Cee Bailey's and the stock pillion seat once the Sargent caught me en route? Don't want to ride around with a big shipping box until I can find a UPS office, etc.

Nope. Guess any Sargent for me is going to have to wait until I get back. :(

Just kidding, though. It's all good! :D
