Is the price for seat pan exchange or does Sargent make their own seat pan?
Sargent makes their own pan. No need to send in your old saddle.nondairycreamer said:Is the price for seat pan exchange or does Sargent make their own seat pan?
Thanks for checking in Mary. I've been pre-registered for a long, long time, when do you expect to start shipping this seat?mary@sargent said:We try our best to level the seats to prevent that crushing forward slide, (this one was easy to level).
Front only storage compartment under the seat. (Rear didn't really have enough room without raising the passenger up too high.)
Sorry, just found out pre-registration has closed.

I pre-registered forever ago also...I haven't gotten an email yet...martinh said:I pre-registered for the seat long time ago. Is Sargent going to contact everyone who pre-registered when they are ready to release the seat? Is the seat going to be the same height or a little higher than the OEM Seat? I hope it can be a bit higher than stock.
The emails are supposed to go out tomorrow (Friday) night. You can order on Monday.avc8130 said:I pre-registered forever ago also...I haven't gotten an email yet...

No problem! I have the solution for you!!! Simply have the new Sargent saddle drop shipped to my house and I will try it out for a few weeks - compare it to my BMS and give you a report back.Dallara said:~
Well, isn't that *SPECIAL*!!!
Here I waited and waited for a Sargent saddle because I've been so happy with them on multiple bikes in the past, and I pre-registered for their's for when it became available... Only I got tired of waiting and was ready to pull the trigger on a Bill Mayer... Only then I got a nice deal from a member here on a Cee Bailey's modified seat, and have been using that. It's not bad at all, and certainly much better for all-day rides than the stocker, no matter what spacers you use, no matter whether I use a sheepskin pad or not...
And now - finally - Sargent is going to offer them for ordering this Friday, with shipping on Monday... And I'd like to order a full F & R set...
Only I'm leaving on a long trip either next Wednesday night or Thursday morning and won't be there to accept the package if I did order them!!! :'(
Oh, well... The Cee Bailey's will do fine for a while yet, and I guess that'll give me a chance to read the reviews on the Sargent from you guys before I pull the trigger on a set. ::001::
