Just got an email from Larry at Romney Cycles (WV) to say he's now stocking S10's, and has a blue one on the floor. The price? Not the new MSRP of $14,500 - but $12,795.

This is where I got mine and found they were great guys to deal with.

Can you give me an idea of the add-ons to the invoice? Freight? Dealer prep?

What is the tax rate in WV? I had a list of which states tax out of state buyers, I'll have to look it up again.

Thanks

Assuming it's the same deal as when I bought mine... NO addons, except a doc fee of $35.

Tax you pay in your home state - I'm from DC, bought in WV, paid DC tax. Been riding with WV temp tags, valid for 2 months, until last week.

Trevor, I'm curious, does he post the $12,795 price right on the cycle itself, or do you have to "talk" to them to get that price?

That was one thing I enjoyed about dealing with them - no dancing around the price, no BS, no add-ons, no negotiation necessary, just straight to the bottom line... For the pre-order bikes it was $12,295. Who's going to argue with that? So for the stock models, MSRP went up by $600, Romney's price went up by $500 to $12,795.

I don't know if the bike is stickered with that price, but that's the price they'll give anyone who asks.

Outstanding news, Trevor.

Yep, Romney was a great place to buy my S10. Larry does not blow smoke. He tells you the facts as he knows them. Very refreshing place to do business.

It's where I purchased mine. Day trip for me from PA.

Here's a pic of Timmy on the Left, Me center and Larry on the right picking up my Raven.
