Complete rims and tires with spokes and brake discs all included and ready to be swopped over at anytime. Currently shod with new K-60 Scouts

All receipts included come to over £3160 , so, serious money as we say here in UK...which means serious offers only.

I am perplexed at this. Are the hubs and rotors really that much? Wowza!

Not in the US, but the UK gets bent over pretty badly on this stuff. The rear rim alone is $200 USD more in the UK than in the US, from a quick, casual search.

The biggest issue is availability. These bikes just haven't been out that long, even in the UK, finding one at the wrecker is not so common. Question is, what's it worth for someone in the UK to have a spare set of wheels?

In the US, you can go online and see what the Yamaha dealers quote for prices?

Without the tires , the rims, hubs , discs and spokes cost me £3000 !! ( $4931 ) That was directly from a local Yamaha dealer up the road here in Swindon, UK.

I am only selling due to very personal reasons and promise you, after spending £3900 ( $6400 ) on all the accessories on my S-10 ( see my XT1200 For Sale listed here too ) plus these rims, its not a easy thing to accept that am forced to sell.

When I had my GS and GSA, it was fantastic to switch rims in 15 mins and head off-road and vice versa. A lot of my friends have sports bikes and always "shocked" them with the way a big trailie could keep up with them most of the time. Having a second set of rims just added that dual-sport functionality even more.

Sadly, my life is being forced to take another route and not a choice I have right now. So, these have to go and I agree with your comments - I doubt anyone has this type of money to spend on such luxury.
