I need to teach a class in Long Beach Dec 2 and am bringing Jackie who has never been to LA. Weather permitting, I'm looking into renting a Super Tenere or FJR from Eagle Rider for Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Current thought is to do Sunday night in the Calabassas/Malibu area to ride some canyons and back roads in the hills. Sunday night we need to be in Long Beach. After that is open.

I see that the "snake" to the west of the Rock Store is closed, so is there much activity on Sunday mornings any more?

Google still shows the Rock Store is still open on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Shows a 30min avg wait at noon on Sundays. Not so much on Friday or Saturday.

Saw that but a big part of going there was always departing to the west.

It’s still a thing, in fact I was there earlier today for a breakfast burrito! Mornings are best and have the best variety of bikes, as the day goes on, there’s more and more Harley’s.
