Just had the pleasure of riding in the tail end of Hurricane Katia. The remnants of this storm is making its way across the north of the UK. Gusts upto 80mph are being reported and have to say they are probably amongst the worst I've ridden in. The S10 was still fairly stable as long as you ride prepared for the gust (reading the landscape for gaps in the scenery helped). I found sticking the leg into the prevailing wind (pointing into the direction the wind came from) helps stablise it though the gusting still had me wandering over most of a lane. Overall though not a bad bike for bad weather riding, I think the weight and low CofG helped.

Thankfully, we missed katia, but not Irene and we got the remnants of Lee as well. It's been a wet couple of weeks here on the east coast of north America.
