I looked at this tent, and I don't get it. I'm trying to save space and don't need a "garage" to park my mode of transportation when I get there, ymmv...

I saw one set up last weekend, kinda neat lots of space if you don't need a garage and maybe a covered work area or whatever not sure specs on what they weigh but kinda neat anyhow

I own one great tent, the garage really ins't about storing your bike, think of it as a big vestibule....great place to hang out when the weather goes pear shaped. The bad thing is its heavy and big packed. 13 lbs I believe. Here are some pics of mine setup and packed.
Packed on the bike...in the grey compression sack.....yup its big but fits on the pannier okay..

I don't use it for one night camping...or if I need to setup and take down every day....for those trips I have this little Nemo Morhpo one....about the opposite of the Redverz tent...

Polar opposites but both look like good ways to travel. "tent envy"

If I was basecamping for a extended amount of time, this might be pretty nice to have. But if you're tearing down/setting up every day for a week, might get pretty long in the tooth.

That being said, it's always great to have options from a consumer point-of-view!

I had one and just sold it a few weeks ago. It's great if you're not moving for a few days and you don't need the luggage space you lose with this tent....it's very large. If you are moving locations everyday, it would get real old quickly.

The main advantages are camping in the rain. You can pitch the tent in the rain without getting the inner tent wet and have a huge vestibule to sit and hang out. My tent was 100% waterproof in the heaviest rain.

The disadvantage to this tent is the size. It takes up an enormous amount of space on the bike and at the campground. You have to have plenty of room on the bike to haul this 13 lb behemoth. When you arrive at your destination, you'd better find a huge flat spot because this thing takes up a bunch of square feet. Also, it is only a three pole design which makes in non-freestanding and prone to flapping in the breeze, which it does readily.

I would've kept the tent if they would make the main tent part free standing by crossing two poles and maybe made the vestibule a little smaller. It's just too much fabric to sort out when pitching and it gets old.

Just my .02
