I had one on my Tenere. The weld on the Thin bracket broke and it scuffed a bad scratch in my swing arm before I noticed it. They sent a replacement and a chunk of the plastic broke off still attached to the flimsy bracket. I wrote it off as a you get what you pay for. I do ride some rough gravel roads. 1 star review. I've have that same unit on my '12 for almost a year now and no issues as I'm mostly on the road so far. I'm pretty sure I also got it from aliexpress.
The mounting brackets are a little strange and it came with no instructions but I got it to work just fine (one hole did not line up and you can see the original hole in the picture).

One hole didn't line up is an understatement. That usually means filing out a hole a bit to make it fit, not drilling a new hole an inch or more away. QC isn't what it used to be, if it even ever existed at aliexpress. I see you run Jesse Bags, too.

LOL... and I would agree... the original hole is waaaaay off. No problem, easy fix and it has been fine ever since. I'm sure I balked at paying $150++ for other higher quality units that would surely fit better.
And yes. Jesse hard cases which came with the bike and I really like them. The mounting hardware is solid and the cases well made as they should be for what they cost new (the original owner put these on).

I had one on my 14 for about 50k kms, had to take it off last month, one of the brackets broke.

I liked how well it kept the road spray from soaking my pants, so I'm planning to replace it with the one from Pyramid. It's pricier, but looks more solid.
