Puig windshield compatibility

I will get my 2014 bike tomorrow
I wanted to order a Puig windshield on a dealer but here what they show on the description

Product description Puig Touring Windshield Yamaha XT1200Z Super Tenere
Compatible models:
YAMAHA XT1200Z SUPER TENERE 2016/2019.

Can you confirm me that my bike (2014 gen2) should be also compatible with this windshield . The 2014 model after all is the same as 2016 and on models ?

if its advertised as a 2016/2019 its for the gen 2 tenere they have the holes on the screen wider apart to fit a gen 2 screen mount, so as long as your 2014 is a gen 2 it will fit

Gen 2 started in 2014 so that's why I didn't know why they didn't include this year in their compatible models
