Burke’s Garden, VA. A slideshow/video. burkesgarden

Pictures could never do justice to the beauty of this place. It is best experienced in person. You will never tire of riding there.

The soundtrack is old-time mountain music sung by Elizabeh LaPrelle, a native resident and keeper of this enduring music. When you go to Burkes Garden, I think you will agree that the music is a fitting step back in time.

I'd have to go through once fast to enjoy the twisties, and then back through slow to enjoy the scenery. Thanks for posting.

Rode through there a few years ago. It is definitely pretty there. You reminded me that I want to go back, thanks for posting.

I always thought the Hatfield trail system was pretty serious off roading. Are there parts that could be handled by a decent S10 pilot without serious bodily harm? There are hundreds of miles of these trails too, correct?

What little I know of the trails, not exactly S10 territory. Dedicated dirt bikes and ATVs are the machines that frequent the trailheads. And yes 100s of miles of color-coded by difficulty trails w/ more added every season.

But there are a million miles of off road "roads" in WV that are ideal. Why I bought one.
