1. Click on "Reply" button to reply to the topic
2. Click on "Additional Options" below the field where you type your message
3. Click on "Browse" button next to "Attach:" field
4. Select the directory and the file name, which you want to attach to your post
5. Click on "Post" button to post your message with attached picture.

Note. For some reason "Preview" does not show attached picture.

Thanks gadgetguy, but.........

Thats why I have not posted a photo because the Preview does not show the attachment. Whats up with that ???
Not many folks would want to post without knowing for sure the photo is attached

I'm not sure if this will help, but I just created a new board for folks to try things like this out. It's called "Try It Out" and can be found in the Board listing page. The posts won't appear on the home page, and the whole board is only viewable by members, no guests.

Thanks Venture,

Good idea! :lamp: I like this forum and you guys seem to stay on top of things.

A better way than attaching is loading your picture into one of the free or pay picture services (photobucket, smugmug, etc.) Once you have an image up loaded there, or if you want to attach an image that is already hosted on the internet somewhere (a manufactures website for example), right click on the image and select "copy image location". That copies the URL into your clipboard. Now, when you are posting on this forum, you click on the 'Insert Image" icon (it's the first one above the row of smilies and below the 'B' to bold. When you click that, the img html will be inserted wherever your cursor was and now you can paste [CTRL V] the picture's URL between the img tags. Boom there you go. The picture will now show up in your post and it is loaded from the hosting website every time someone loads/views your post. The side benefit of this is the yamahasupertener.com is not hosting your image (which takes up drive space), It's hosted on another server. I use photobucket and it works pretty good, but so do all the other image hosting websites.

This is how I post a picture too, But the one bad thing about doing it this way is you can't ever delete or change the picture on Photobucket or it will be deleted off of this sight too.
