Picked mine up friday, SW PA

I have been lusting over a bigger machine for a few years now. I currently have a 2003 KLR 650 that I have had since 2005. I have enjoyed the KLR, on the dirt and back roads near my home and cabin; but it isn't comfortable enough for me for serious travelling, especially two-up. I picked up a Blue 2012 Friday evening. I put about 300 miles on it this weekend, most miles 2 up. All I can say is, "WOW!!". From the test ride I took on Friday through today, every ride ends with me liking this bike even more. I can't wait to add some gear to the bike. I will probably start with the engine guard and skid plate to protect the bike. Then I willl likely add a bigger screen, heated grips and bags. The wife and I have already begun to lay out trips that we want to take! What a wonderful midlife crisis!
